At higher quantities (1,000 and up) the price per label is considerably lower than at 500. These small, self-sticking labels are more important than you may realize. They make it possible for people to contact your group or business to order more buttons. Put one on the back of every button and sticker you sell. Without a way to reach you, someone interested in getting the button will not know how to find another one.

Designed in 1979 by Donnelly/Colt for a 2 day march, rally and civil disobedience action on Wall Street on the 50th anniversary of the 1929 stock market crash that was the start of the Great Depression. We still have a few of these buttons left after all these years. They're still relevant – unfortuntely. 82 years after the 1929 Crash and 32 years after those nonviolent anti-nuclear affinity-group actions on Wall Street, a new movement was born there on September 17, 2011: the Occupy / 99% global movement.

This design, originally created by the Greenfield, Mass. group, the A.E.C. (Alternative Energy Committee of Frnklin County, not Atomic Energy Commission of Washington, D.C.) in 1976, was one of the most popular buttons of the anti-nuclear movement of the late-1970s/mid-80s. We found one last bag of them. These were printed before the safety pin backing was popular, and they have the then-popular lock pin on back. (Note: we also sell clutch pin backings that can be stuck on the back of these kind of buttons to make a more durable way to attach them to backpacks, jackets, etc. You'll find them under "Miscellaneous" stuff in this catalog. The issue is still very relevant today as corporate America has successfully privatized the airwaves, and the Reagan administration did away with the F.C.C.'s Fairness Doctrine, opening the floodgates to one-sided rightwing media consolidation and domination beginning in the 1980's
